OFFICIAL 173 SCORER
I graduated from Princeton University in 2024 with a major in the School of Public and International Affairs. I started with a diagnostic score of 155, and after taking the official test multiple times scored an official 173. I learned to love the LSAT by employing a commonsense, comprehensive-centric approach. I have been tutoring the LSAT since May of 2026, both on Wyzant and independently, and have been tutoring more generally since I was a teenager.
METHODOLOGY
Comprehension First
Slow down, turn off the clock, and focus on accuracy as opposed to speed. Be critical of each sentence you read and attack arguments before reading the question or answer choices.
Make Predictions
Making predictions on most questions will not only force you to think through what you have read, but it will allow you to more confidently eliminate wrong answers and settle on the right one.
Thorough Review
Every mistake, whether from a PT, a timed section, or a drill, is an opportunity to learn. Don't move on to a new question until you have fully dissected what went wrong.
Tutoring Plans
Our tutoring sessions will be largely focused on your specific struggles. I will start by talking through my general strategy and, if helpful, we can create a tailored study schedule that works around your life's commitments. From there, I believe that LSAT learning happens from doing questions. I don't believe in timing strategies, tips and tricks, or score guarantees. We will dive into the questions that you found most difficult from your studies throughout the week, taking the time necessary to fully understand each one.
